Stockport's new interchange Bridge is kinda there. Hopefully will provide a frictionless route for walkers and wheelers between train station, bus station and town!

This trial filter on Hartington Road is designed to stop ratrunning through the residential estate, by motorists trying to avoid queues of traffic on the A6.

Just plain dumb! The inconsiderately placed bus stop and the greedy advertising space here narrow the pavement to less than a metre.
The steps here make this a genuine pedestrian zone!
